Ed Emberly's Drawing Books

These books are wonderful for all those who DO and DO NOT know how to draw because the book sets you up for success! Each book has a variety of different things to draw, whether it’s an animal, boat, or insect. The whole point of his books is that you are provided with step by step instructions on how to draw, and all you do is keep adding to the picture! So even the worst artists can make a beautiful picture of a lion! It addresses many skills like visual motor integration required for copying, fine motor skills for coloring and proper pencil holding and sequencing! I use this a lot during Occupational Therapy sessions because the student’s feel accomplished and proud of their beautiful drawings. Great for ages 4+.
